Today’s selection is “Time You’ll Never Get Back”, available on Williamson’s album “A Few Things To Hear Before We All Blow Up”. I’m a sucker for an optimistic title.
From Magnatune :
“Electronic yet emotional, digital yet honest and human, his music is an invitation to lose oneself in reverie. “I fell in love with music and became that quintessential bedroom recluse listening to tapes and LPs over and over again,” Wade explains. “I wanted to make music for people like me, so I’ve tried to create things that are open ended and allow people to think for themselves and daydream to.”
Wade is a studio production whiz and multi-instrumentalist who plays guitar, keys, bass, and a wide array of electronic instruments. His long list of influences range from Spiritualized to The Flaming Lips, and underground artists such as Fourtet, Bedhead, and Marumari. ”
