Today is funky. I feel displaced, I don’t live in Atlanta anymore, but I don’t live in Halifax yet either. I’m in Nashville, the heart of country music, and we’re expecting 4 inches of (rare) snow. So, what says funky and displaced to me? Apparently, downtempo.

Next “Driving when I shouldn’t” is 4/4 beat, this is the first time to listen their housy tune. Then “Not entirely honest” turns into IDM-like trip-hop, one of my favorite. 4th track “Tell the world I’m sorry” is 4/4 again, this one is headed for techno. And warm chill “Looking down on mother earth” slowly closes this EP.”
I’d never listened to anything on the bumpfoot netlabel until today, but if this is any bellweather, that’s going to change.
