I have nothing to do with the Copyright Criminals remix contest. Smart, capable people have the judging well under control, or so I understand. This is great news for me, because it means I get to play favorites.

If I had to throw down five loonies on my guess as to the winner of the Copyright Criminals contest, this would be it. I can litterally picture this being used with footage I’ve seen, and the message is point blank on target.
So, big ups to Trifonic. If it doesn’t win the contest and go on to being heard by thousands of expected doccumentary viewers, it will at least be heard by a thousand or so faithful fans of CC:365.

I have listened to many and perhaps most entries, and I agree with you that the Trifonic one is the best I’ve heard.
Another suggestion. We & Lisa, they might do CC licensing, but I don’t know. They have a bit of things on their website for downloading, and contacting them about licensing might be worth it. http://www.weandlisa.com/
