I present for you a classic song of the scorned woman. When I first listened to the this tune by the French group, Delgarma, I found myself mentally searching my past to make sure I wasn’t the subject of the song. I hope not. This is one really angry woman that you probably don’t want to piss off.
According to a paragraph left at the OPSound Pool, “Delgarma is an acoustic band with 2 electroaoustic guitars, percussion, bass and a female angelic lead voice. Delgarma plays songs in english, french and swedish.”
I Wish I Didn’t Care comes from a Jamendo release called, que vive l’industrie. However, if you aren’t comfortable with the bit torrent distribution model, they also have 11 tunes (including Day 170) posted at Musique-Libre.org.
If you are in Lyon next week, you might want to head out to the MJC Monplaisir. Delgarma will be playing Thursday and Friday night starting at 8:00. I’m not sure what type of scene it will be, but I love the sound.
