While looking for music on the wonderful Opsound, I discovered some tracks by James Shuttleworth and I knew that I found something that I liked. A lecturer at Coventry University as well as a programmer and musician who contributes to the Commons through his music. He describes it as “music to walk by” and elaborates by saying:
I love the way having certain pieces of music playing as I walk around changes my perception of my surroundings, and my work is mostly an effort to consciously pick the flavour of experience. City centres can seem peaceful; a dark underpass can feel comforting; fields and trees can be disturbing.
The track “All The Trips” is a perfect way to end a week when many people have been going back to school and as mysteries begin to unfold. It’s also a great way to start another round where I get to share Creative Commons licensed music that I enjoy.
