The Comfort Stand artists seem to hit a certain groove with me that I love and I keep going back to find more great music. There is a great split ep of The Coconut Monkey Rocket & Martinibomb (who was a CC:365 pick on day 244) and I’d like to highlight the Coconut Monkey Rocket side of SPLIT! with the track “Illogical Boogie”. The Coconut Monkey Rocket is a groovy project from Jason Emmett and he’ll have you dancing when you listen to this. From the scratchiness of the record to the hipster voice to the driving beat, it’s something that I listen to again and again.
