Day 291: The Cranston Foundation - Movement Revolution

October 18th, 2006 by Chris Campbell

The Cranston FoundationAnother day, another BeatPick band and another Canadian band as well with The Cranston Foundation, who are based in Calgary, Alberta. With an intoxicating mix of hip-hop, reggae, punk, ska and rock they are full of energy which is captured in the diverse tracks that make up their album Communicate. A five-member band made up of Jeremy Dows on bass, Jack Abads providing the beats, Amos Bradley on guitar, vocals by Alex Black, and MC Rick Polson. Take a listen to Movement Revolution to get a glimpse of The Cranston Foundation. Thanks to Katy at BeatPick for suggesting this track.
