Day 321: Books on Tape - Pirate radio child

November 17th, 2006 by Chris Campbell

Man AliveIt’s Chris here again and I’m kicking off a week of picks with a track from Books on Tape (a.k.a Todd Matthew Drootin of California) who sadly announced on his blog that Books on Tape is going away soon. But the good news is that he’s going on a mini tour and there should be a new release after Books on Tape goes away. In terms of the Commons, Books on Tape has made many contributions on various netlabels with tracks available on the Internet Archive. My pick for today is “Pirate radio child” from the Man Alive EP, which is released by the Italian netlabel Ogredung. Catchy, simple and a bit experimental, I hope you enjoy listening to Books on Tape.
