I was reminded this week (thanks to a blog post at ccmixterblog) of ccMixter:sa which is the South African Creative Commons remix site. They had just recently concluded a remix contest called SAfro-Brazil Remix. Whispa had several contest entries including the winner.

You are going to have to visit ccMixter:sa to hear the contest winner because, frankly, I liked this mix better and this is my post. I instantly took to the feel that Whispa lays down in this track and hope you like it too.

After studying classical music till Grade 12, he started taking producing a bit more seriously and began working with various musicians. He’s produced for South African kwaito star Mzekezeke and is currently working on a project with a group known as Koldproduk.
